Halloween 2020 amid pandemic

Like every other holiday and festival, Halloween is being celebrated under the shadow of a pandemic.

A holiday which is dedicated to all things spooky and ghostly is quite different this year which; a year which is a nightmare itself.  The coronavirus pandemic has changed the way we live, but it hasn't stopped people from getting into the spirit of Halloween to celebrate the holiday. The festivities have only been altered to accommodate the new atmosphere of social distancing. And if social media posts are anything to go by, people have quickly adapted to the transition.

For Halloween 2020, a lot of the decor reflects the time of Covid-19. From Zoom meets to face masks, people donned on their creative hats to make the most of the scenario.

Is it possible to allow the kids a bit of Halloween this year? @RandyAwdish (aka Wolf-Grandma) created a 14ft candy chute as a first step. Add masks and the outdoors and hand washing and it's a pandemic #Halloween2020 pic.twitter.com/CjRpBIdcVm— RanaAwdishMD (@RanaAwdish) October 25, 2020
