Mustafizur Rahman shined in Rajasthan Royals' 6-wicket victory over Kolkata Knight Riders.

Mustafiz picked up the wicket of top-scorer Rahul Tripathi and gave away only 22 runs from his 4 overs.

One catch was dropped off his bowling in his first over.

Meanwhile, Shakib Al Hasan, who is representing Kolkata Knight Riders in this year's IPL, was dropped from the playing eleven for the second consecutive match.

Shakib has had an average campaign in the matches he played so far while Mustafizur has impressed in most of the matches.

Rajasthan Royals beat Kolkata Knight Riders by 6 wickets in the IPL 2021 match No. 18 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Saturday.

Chasing 134 for victory, RR skipper Sanju Samson remained unbeaten on 42 and he was well supported by David Miller as RR reached home in the 19th over.

Chris Morris finished with figures of 4 for 23 - his best figures in the IPL as none of the KKR batters got going and finished with 133 for 9. Only Rahul Tripathi was amongst the runs with his 36-run innings.

Earlier, RR captain Sanju Samson won the toss and had no hesitation in opting to bowl first against Eoin Morgan's Kolkata Knight Riders.

RR made two changes to their side while KKR replaced Kamlesh Nagarkoti with Shivam Mavi.

Both the teams were desperate for a win to get their Indian Premier League campaign back on track.

KKR are now at the bottom of the table after tonight's loss.
