Nobody wants to lose and The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Nazmul Hasan Papon is no exception. He does not only hate defeats, he literally gets furious about it. Papon could not get over the Mirpur Test defeat against Windies even after a day.

Papon once again vented out his frustration with the team when he went to receive the coronavirus vaccine on Monday. He said the team has to change the mentality. He also suggested them to come out of the prejudice that they can not play without spinners.

The BCB president said that it is necessary to bring such a realization that improvement is needed. "You feel angry, I feel angry too. Whatever I said yesterday was all frustration. We have world-class players. We have to improve, this realization has to be in everybody."

Papon does not understand why two pacers were not picked for the Tests. He believes the Bangladesh team should come out of the idea of playing only spinners in matches.

BCB president cannot accept the way the Bangladesh batsmen got out in the Dhaka Test. According to him, batsmen have to think before playing shots. In addition to planning and strategy, many other things need to be changed. He also talked about forming a separate team for the Tests.

Cricketers getting vaccinated ahead of the New Zealand tour. However, some are still hesitant. The BCB president said no one is being forced to take the vaccine.

"No one's being forced. Whoever feels hesitant, can reject getting vaccinated.'

'Fifty percent of cricketers have been vaccinated to go to New Zealand. The rest are a bit hesitant. There is still some time to decide. They will be vaccinated tomorrow or the day after tomorrow if they want," Papon added.
