Afghanistan releases details of 2 arrested ISIS leaders, hailing from Bangladesh, Pakistan

Afghan forces arrested two more senior leaders of the Islamic State, ISIS Khurasan, who hail from Bangladesh and Pakistan.

In a statement, the National Directorate of Security (NDS) said the Afghan intelligence arrested Mohammad Tanweer having aliases (Omran, Ahmad and Nasir), who is originally a resident of Dhaka city of Bangladesh, Khaama press reported.

The statement further added that Tanweer was in charge of the Information Technology of ISIS Khurasan who was trained by Esa Panjabi, a resident of Punjab of Pakistan.

According to NDS, Tanweer was playing a key role in organizing communications between ISIS Khurasan leaders in a confidential manner.

The NDS forces also arrested Ali Mohammad, a senior ISIS Khurasan leader, who was in charge of the logistics affairs of the terror group, NDS said, adding that Mohammad is originally a resident of Islamabad of Pakistan and he was playing a key role in coordinating foreign aid to support ISIS activities in Afghanistan.

The ISIS sympathizers have not commented in this regard so far.
