With a chilling minute-long video that doesn't bode well for Eleven, Netflix released the second teaser for the upcoming fourth season of the 1980s-set sci-fi hit on Thursday (Millie Bobby Brown).

And in keeping with tradition, the spoiler-averse Duffer brothers and Netflix have released no additional details about the highly anticipated and long-delayed fourth season of the breakout series.

The latest trailer is the second for the upcoming fourth season, following a teaser released in February 2020 that promised the return of David Harbour's Chief Jim Hopper, who was presumably killed (in an extra dimensional portal explosion) in season 3. Fans should expect two more videos based on the captions of the two videos (001/004 and 002/004, respectively).

The latest teaser appears to be a flashback, with the evil Dr. Martin Brenner speaking to a group of children at the same establishment where Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) was born. The new season will most likely continue to explore Eleven's roots while also possibly introducing other supernatural children (something the show has explored before back in season 2.

Stranger Things dropped its third season back in July 2019. Production on season four was underway in March 2020 when the pandemic halted filming.

Netflix has yet to reveal a release date for the fourth season, but with the marketing campaign ramping up again, Stranger Things 4 shouldn't be too far away.
