As the pandemic situation gets worse throughout the world, a group of musicians decides to spread the message of positivity and hope among people through the recreation of an iconic song.
Musicians from India and Bangladesh decides to recreate Salil Chowdhury's landmark song "O Alor Path Jatri Eje Ratri Ekhane Themona."
The musical tribute was performed by 12 musicians from India and Bangladesh. They are Rahul Chatterjee, Snehasish Mazumdar, Morshed Khan, Pearo Khan, Kazi Arindam, Soumyajyoti Ghosh, Gopa De Sarkar, Tapas Roy, Foad Nasser, Samrat Bose and Walter Dias and Rocket Mondal.
Rocket Mondal, musician-composer from India was highly influenced by Salil Chowdhury's music. The musician in a spur of a moment decided to unite musicians from India and Bangladesh to do an instrumental cover of the iconic song.
Foad Nasser, founder and keyboardist of 'Feedback' was immediately on board for the collaboration. The musician was in love with the track and was ecstatic to play the piano for the song.
Naseer felt a deep sense of connection with the legendary song as it consisted of a vast array of Bengali culture and history.
Salil Chowdjury's "O Alor Path Jatri Eje Ratri Ekhane Themona'"was a song that was used to charge up and motivate when they became lazy. The song was released in the album "Ghum Bhangar Gaan" and the song narrates the journey of life, asks people not to stop amid adversities.
