Pasta Alfredo

Ingredients (Serves two to three persons)

Pasta 2 cups

Fresh cream 1-1/2 cup

Cheddar cheese 1 cup

Chicken boneless 1 cup

Salt to taste

Dried oregano 1 tsp

Black pepper powder 1 tsp

Oil 2-3 tbsp

Parsley for garnish

Preparation:

Boil the pasta with 1 tsp salt, or as needed, and 2 tablespoons oil.  Once the pasta is tender and perfectly boiled, strain it and wash under cold running water.

Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan, add the chicken, cook it until all the juices have evaporated and the chicken has been nicely cooked.

Add the cream, salt, black pepper, oregano and combine everything nicely. Once all the spices are mixed well, add the pasta and stir. Then add the cheese and mix until the cheese melts. Keep stirring slowly until everything is well combined.

Garnish the pasta with parsley and serve.
