What is it that brings happiness?
If you think so, you should go to Karwan Bazar.
Karwan Bazar is one of the largest wholesale and retail marketplaces in Dhaka. You will see a thousand faces there, busy trading a variety of items.
In a thousand of faces, you will see a thousand of emotions; happiness predominantly.
If you pay attention, it might change your outlook on life, money and happiness.
Every small trade, every banter with another trader, even a novice photographer taking a shot writes a story of happiness in here.
An 18-year-old college student from Dhaka, I tried to explore what is behind their smiles.
I am a passionate mobile photographer. My first click was at the age of 15 but I started photography seriously with a 13-megapixel mobile phone camera when I was at grade 12.
I love to shoot street portraits through which I can learn something every day. I also like fine art photography, fashion photography and travel photography. I like to see the works of Vineet Vohra, Hasan Chandan, Ab Rashid, Ashraful Alam Shovon, Enamul Reza, Rahul Talukdar, Nayem Jabaz, Ab Rashid, R.A Khan, Ehsanul Siddique Aranya and others.
I took inspiration from my photographer friends. But I learned everything by myself. I am still in a learning phase and trying to improve my skills.
I always try to tell a story with my photographs. Camera is like a pen to me and I write stories of faces with my camera. I believe in the saying, "Device does not matter for Photography".
