Best diving spots in the world

It is a thing of wonder that beneath the sea, there is a mysterious world full of fishes and other marine creatures. Underwater diving is an adventure like no other; although not for long, it brings us somewhat closer to that world. According to experts, underwater diving can be meditative and extremely relaxing.

Every year, Forbes magazine creates a list of the top diving spots in the world that travellers must visit. We picked out some of them for our readers:

Durban, South Africa

Durban, South Africa is one of the best diving spots if you are a fan of sharks.

They are scary looking creatures, but they are also fascinatingly beautiful. It is only natural that once you are underwater and you see a shark approaching you, you would get a chill down your spine.

Durban is known as a habitat to many kinds of sharks – tiger sharks, bull sharks and even the great white. It you want, you can also a see a school of sharks feeding in front of you.

Easter Island, Chile

The Easter Island in Chile is one of the most remote islands in the world. Although it is not one of the most popular diving spots, but with great visibility and hundreds of species of animals, this is a great underwater spot to explore.

At the Moai diving site, you will be able to swim around one of the mysterious giant heads of the Easter Island. Nothing can be more thrilling than that!

Savusavu, Fiji

Fiji is known as the world's soft coral capital and its underwater world is one of its kinds.

According to divers, it is one of the coolest diving places ever.

Lush green landscape and clear, blue water also makes it a dream spot for tourists.

La Paz, Mexico

Your underwater adventures can begin from La Paz in Mexico.
