Bangladesh University of Professionals holds environmental programmes

Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) recently held two programmes named Tree Plantation 2020 and BUP Flower Festival 2020. 

The programmes were organised by the university's environmental club under the supervision of its department of environmental science, said a press release. 

Vice Chancellor of BUP Major General Md Emdad-Ul-Bari was present at the programmes as chief guest. 

M Abul Kashem Mozumder, pro-vice chancellor of the university was present at the programmes as special guest. 

The aim of the programmes was to highlight the importance of indigenous flowers in preserving the environment and to inspire the students to play a positive role in this field. 

Besides, all BUP officers, teachers and students participated in a cleanliness programme which was also held in the campus.
