Stocks edge up after 2 days of losing streaks

Investors witnessed an upward trend of the indices at both stock exchanges on Tuesday after two days of losing streaks.
DSEX, the broad-based index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), was 0.30% higher at 6,222 points on the day following several intraday ups and downs.
The port city bourse Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) major index CASPI surged by 57 points to 18,382.
Also, the trading appetite that reflects investors' confidence seemed to have remained low as Tuesday the DSE registered only Tk349 crore turnover, which was Tk345 on Monday.
Of the total scrips, 87 scrips advanced, 14 declined and the remaining 224 were unchanged.
