Bashundhara to supply LPG to Jamuna Oil

Bashundhara LP Gas Ltd will supply Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) to the auto-gas stations of state-owned Jamuna Oil Company Ltd apart from setting up pumps at the establishments.

Both the companies signed an agreement in a meeting at the Jamuna Bhaban in the capital on Tuesday, said a press release.

Jamuna Oil Managing Director Md Gias Uddin Ansary and Head of Sales of Bashundhara LP Gas Jakaria Jalal inked the deal on behalf of their respective sides.

Jamuna Oil General Managers, Ayub Hossain and Masud Karim, Deputy General Managers, Khasru Azad, Masudul Islam, GAA Muyeed, Abdus Sabur Khan, Md Jasim Uddin and Hasan Imam were also present at the meeting.

From Bashundhara LP Gas, Assistant General Manager, Nur Kutubul Alam and Divisional Sales Manager, Enamul Haque also attended the meeting, among others.

Autogas or LPG has become a unique source of environment-friendly fuel and Bashundhara LP Gas will empower the auto-gas stations of Jamuna Oil with state-of-the-art services.

Jamuna Oil Managing Director Gias Uddin Ansary said autogas has become a popular mode of fuel and Bashundhara LP Gas can fulfil the local demand of environment-friendly energy through the partnership.

Bashundhara LP Gas, head of sales Jakaria Jalal briefed on the present state of services of the company at the meeting that focused on the import process and supply chain management.

He termed the agreement, 'a milestone' for Bashundhara LP Gas, the leading brand from the private sector.

According to the agreement, both the companies will work together for expanding the market of international standard auto-gas replacing the traditional fuel.

Bashundhara Group has partnered with around 200 auto-gas stations to supply LPG and the process to sign agreements with another 200 stations is underway.
