Wakil Uddin newly elected Mutual Trust Bank chairman

Wakil Uddin has newly been elected Chairman of Mutual Trust Bank (MTB) Limited. 

A prominent businessman, Wakil Uddin is also the chairman of Baridhara Corporation Ltd and Baridhara Agro & Food Processing Ltd, managing director of Swadesh Properties Ltd, Swadesh Global Media Ltd and Director of Hurdco International School. 

Also President of the Editorial Board of the National Daily 'Swadesh Pratidin', Wakil Uddin is a freedom fighter. He is working to establish business and industrial establishments with the vision of contributing to the country's economy by playing a role in socio-economic development and employment generation, saidf a press release.

Appointment of Wakil Uddin as the Chairman of the bank has brought relief to the directors of the bank as well as joy to the officers and employees of the bank, the press release said. 

Socially and politically known as a popular clean image personality, Wakil Uddin is presently Vice President of Dhaka Mohanagar North Awami League. In addition, he is directly involved in various socio-cultural-religious-sports organizations including various educational institutions, Masjids and madrasas.
