Meghna Bank gets new executive committee chairman
Besides, Uzma Chowdhury has been re-elected as the chairperson of the bank’s Audit Committee
Eminent industrialist Tanveer Ahmed has been elected as the chairman of the Executive Committee of Meghna Bank, while Uzma Chowdhury has been re-elected as the chairperson of the bank's Audit Committee.
The decision came from the 108th board meeting of the bank, said a press statement issued on Tuesday.
Tanveer Ahmed is a renowned entrepreneur in the country's RMG sector. He is the managing director of Elegant Group. He also served the same bank as the chairman of its Risk Management Committee.
On the other hand, Mrs Uzma Chowdhury is the finance director of Pran Group. She has an excellent business background and a diverse range of business interests including in agro and agro based ventures.
