Mercantile Bank holds cyber security awareness session
A total of seventy officials participated in the online session
As part of celebrating Global Cyber Security Awareness Month, October 2020, Mercantile Bank Training Institute organised a virtual session on 31 October on cyber security.
A total of seventy officials, including the head of respective divisions of the head office and branch heads of Mercantile Bank Limited, participated in the online session, according to a press release.
Md Quamrul Islam Chowdhury, managing director & CEO of the bank, inaugurated the event.
In his address Quamrul Islam Chowdhury advised participating officers to strictly adhere with the cyber security guidelines.
SM Tofayel Ahmed, system analyst (Joint Director), Bangladesh Bank was the key-note speaker in the programme.
Javed Tariq, principal of the Training Institute, moderated the virtual session, it read.
