Police on Monday recovered the bodies of nine fishermen who went missing as a trawler capsized in Meghna river during cyclone Bulbul. 

The deceased are Kamal Dalal, 35, Abbas Munsi, 45, Hasan Molla, 38, Rafiq Bishwas, 55, Nurun Nabi Bepari, 30, Mofij Matubbor, 35, Nazrul Islam, 35, Kabir Hossain, 40, Md Billal, 32, all were the residents of Dular Hat area of Bhola's Charfashion upazila, confirmed the Deputy Commissioner of Barishal S M Ajiar Rahman.

Four fishermen are still missing.  

On information, the law enforcers recovered the bodies and trawler from Bahadurpur point in the Meghna river under Mehendiganj upazila, said Abidur Rahma, officer-in-charge of Mehendiganj police station. 

Superintendent of Police of Barishal Saiful Islam said they recovered a total of 10 bodies including another body of a fisherman identified as Morshed, recovered on Sunday evening. 

On Sunday, a trawler carrying 24 people capsized into the river when cyclone Bulbul hit in Bhola.  

Ten fishermen were rescued alive soon after the trawler capsized, he added.
