Covid-19 positivity rate in Chattogram goes below 1%
The positivity rate has come down to almost zero level in the 15 upazilas of the district
Three Covid-19 cases were detected in Chattogram in the last 24 hours till Saturday morning with a positivity rate of below 1% after testing 537 samples.
All the Covid detected patients were from Chattogram city. The positivity rate has come down to almost zero level in the 15 upazilas of the district, according to the daily report of the civil surgeon's office on Covid-19.
As many as seven Covid cases were detected on the previous day.
In Chattogram, the number of total Covid-19 patients has reached 1,26,584. Of them, 92,060 are from the city and the rest 34,524 belong to various upazilas.
As many as 1,362 Covid patients died in Chattogram till now.
The first Covid-19 case was detected in the port city on 3 April in 2020 while the first single death was recorded on 9 April.
