50 new Covid cases reported in 24 hours

The country reported 50 new cases from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours till 8am Friday. 

A .79% positivity rate was recorded during the same period after testing 6,313 samples across the country. 

There has been no death from the virus in Bangladesh since 21 April. 

So far, 29,127 people  have died and 19,53,188 tested positive for Covid-19 in the country. 

Meanwhile, 221 Covid patients were cured in the last 24 hours taking the recovery rate to 97.31%.
