Man dies of fever, respiratory problem in Bogra
To be confirmed whether the man was infected with Covid-19, sample will be sent to IEDCR, said doctor
A man on Friday night died of health complications with early symptoms of coronavirus in Bogra three days after he returned home from Dhaka.
The man caught fever and cold accompanied by breathing difficulties the next day, victim's wife told The Business Standard over phone.
After the man died of illness on Friday night, local administration informed the matter to the district civil surgeon and Mohammad Ali Hospital, which has been prepared for treating coronavirus patients in the district.
To be confirmed whether the man was infected with Covid-19, sample will be sent to Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR), said Shafiq Amin, residential doctor of the hospital.
The funeral will be done once the IEDCR report arrived, he added.
