Tamim Iqbal, Bangladesh's ODI Captain, recently partnered with Nestlé's chocolate malt beverage brand Milo as its brand ambassador.
According to a press release issued by Nestlé on Monday, Milo is a chocolate malt beverage that contains a unique blend of malt, milk and cocoa, fortified with vitamins and minerals.
Regarding his latest partnership, Tamim said during Under-13 practices in Dhanmondi 8 field, he and his teammates used to run an extra mile for some extra Milo, as it was their favorite energy drink.
"I still remember Milo used to have small carts on the sideline and they used to serve Milo to all the players. We used to race to see who gets to have Milo first, and then go for an additional lap to get one extra Milo", he said.
Shammi Rubayet Karim, head of Communication and Marketing Services of Nestlé Bangladesh, said "We are very excited to have Tamim Iqbal on board as the brand ambassador of Milo, and together Milo and Tamim Iqbal can really bring out the best for the children of Bangladesh."
