Pran-Rfl provides food for 40,000 families

Business giant Pran-Rfl Group is continuing its food distributions among helpless and poor people, who are hard-hit by the coronavirus outbreak.

In the second phase of its relief programme, the group is set to provide dried food items among 40,000 families in the country's 20 districts including the capital, said a press release on Wednesday.

The food items they are providing include- flattened rice, puffed rice, noodles, cake, biscuit, toast, milk and juice. 

Local public representatives and administration are helping them implement this programme.    

Under the second phase, the group has so far distributed food at many parts of Dhaka, Chattogram, Feni, Rangpur and Natore, and will provide relief goods in Manikganj, Narsingdi, Gazipur, Kishoreganj, Sylhet, Habiganj, Rajshahi, Bogura, Barisal and some other districts next week.  

Kamruzzaman Kamal, marketing director at Pran-Rfl Group, said "At this moment, many people especially poor are suffering from food shortage as they have no jobs to do. We are distributing food among them in various parts of the country."

At the every early this month, the group distributed food among several thousand families in various parts of Dhaka and Gazipur, Narsingdi, Habiganj, Rajshahi, Natore, Dinajpur and Rangpur districts under the first phase of its relief programme.
