Delta Life holds discussion on Bangabandhu’s life

Marking the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the Delta Life Insurance Company Limited organised discussion session and dua mahfil at its headquarters in the capital on Monday.

Sultan-ul-Abedine Molla, administrator of the company, chaired the event, said a media statement. 

The meeting started with speech given by Ajoy Dasgupta, an Ekushe Padak awarded Journalist and writer. 

During the event, Shahed Rahman, a poet and researcher on Bangabandhu, highlighted various important features of Bangabandhu's life. 

Among others from the company Shawkat Nabi, additional secretary (retd) and consultant; Md Rafiqul Islam, joint secretary (retd) and consultant; Md Fazlur Rahman, senior district and sessions judge (retd) and senior consultant; Akhter Hossen, senior district and sessions judge (retd) and senior consultant; and Md Manjure Mawla, deputy managing director, also spoke on the occasion. 

Finally, a dua-mahfil was held at the conference centre of the head office of the company.

All executives and staff of the company participated in the event.
