Namibia wants to learn from Bangladesh’s socio-economic development
High Commissioner Saifur Rahman told President Geingob that Namibia could profit from investing in the skilled manpower
President of Namibia, Hage Geingob, said that his country has observed the astonishing socio-economic development of Bangladesh under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and they are willing to learn from it.
The President made the remark after handing over the credentials to the new High Commissioner of Bangladesh to Namibia, Nure Helal Saifur Rahman, on Thursday at the President's office statehouse in Windhoek.
President Geingob also thanked Bangladesh for supporting Namibia's fight for independence.
High Commissioner Saifur Rahman told President Geingob that Namibia could profit from investing in the skilled manpower, especially, engineers, doctors, agriculturist and IT specialists from Bangladesh. He said that Bangladesh has already made a name in exporting medical equipment and medicine, and the country is ready to help Namibia.
The President proposed a representative team to visit Namibia to explore the situation.
