A 45-year-old man raped his twin daughters over two years in Gazipur's Sreepur area, police said.

The accused Jahangir Alam Kajal was arrested from his residence last night.

Sreepur Police Station's Officer-in-Charge Abul Kalam Bhuiyan said: "Victims' mother filed a case against Kajal bringing allegation that he had been raping her two daughters since 2017."

"Kajal threatened to kill them if they make the matter public," the OC added quoting the mother.

The twins were sent to the Gazipur Shahid Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College and Hospital for tests.
