Various units of the Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) around the country today have taken to the streets to march against "police brutality on protesters".
Fractions of JCD from Tejgaon College, Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka Metropolitan, Tongi Government College marched against police, who charged batons and injured protestors during a protest demanding justice for online activist and writer Mushtaq Ahmed.
Activists of JCD faced police action yesterday as they tried to hold a pre-announced rally in the capital.
