Bapex discovers natural gas at Srikail East well
Bapex officials do not know about the exact quantity of gas in the well yet

Bangladesh Petroleum Exploration and Production Company Limited (Bapex) has discovered the presence of natural gas at Srikail East well in Comilla on Tuesday.
Bapex deputy manager Nasirul Islam told The Business Standard that, "Natural gas was found at around 8pm today."
However, Bapex officials do not know about the exact quantity of gas in the well yet.
Bapex began digging wells there on August 6 last year.
Currently there are four gas wells in the Srikail.
