A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on Tuesday between Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia and Cankiri Karatekin University, Turkey to undertake joint academic and research activities. 

The signing ceremony was held at a programme at the conference room of IU administrative building around 11:30 am.

IU vice-chancellor Professor Dr M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari and Cankiri Karatekin University’s Erasmus office head Dr Suyaip Turan signed the MoU on behalf of their respective universities.

Among others, IU pro-vice-chancellor Professor M Shahinoor Rahman, Treasurer Professor M Selim Toha and IU international foreign student affairs cell head Dr Shahadat Hossain Azad and IU Law faculty dean Professor Reba Mondol were present on the occasion.
