Islamic University gets new VC
Sheikh Abdus Salam, former professor of Mass Communication and Journalism department of Dhaka University, has been appointed as the vice-chancellor of the Islamic University, Kushtia.
A notification issued by the Secondary and Higher Education Division of the Ministry of Education read that he has been appointed as per the approval of the President and Islamic University law, 1980 article 10(1).
Sheikh Abdus Salam will remain as the VC of the university for four years.
