BUP welcomes spring in colourful manner

Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) celebrated "Bosonto Boron" to welcome the Bengali season of spring yesterday in a colorful manner.

The BUP Cultural Forum organised the cultural event on a stage which was set up on the floating bridge of the university in the capital, said a press release.

BUP Vice Chancellor Major General Md Emdad-Ul-Bari was present as the chief guest of the ceremony while Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor M Abul Kashem Majumdar was present as the special guest.

The chief guest said that education and culture are complementary to each other. Education enhances human knowledge and in the same way, cultural practices promote the development of the heart and mind.

All students, teachers, officers of BUP celebrated the day with great joy, enthusiasm and in a colorful manner, the press release added.
