BFIU seeks bank info of Dr Yunus

The Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) has sent letters to banks across the country seeking information on the accounts of Nobel Laureate Dr Muhammad Yunus.

The organisation has asked the banks to submit the records, including credit card transactions, by Tuesday .

The letters were sent on 20 January, said Bangladesh Bank sources on Monday.
