NIMC made the announcements at an online press conference held at 3 pm on Thursday said a press release issued by NMIC.
The human-chain will be headed by the Convener of NMIC, Dr Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah.
Dr Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah said, "Corona Virus came with a devastating consequence for the country and the countrymen. Many people are dying as a result of mismanagement in the health sector, despite of the Prime Minister's people friendly health policies."
"People believe that everything can be put into the right track if the management becomes right."
"So, today (Thursday) we are declaring the emergence of 'National Management Improvement Council' to contribute to the improvement of the management in public sectors and in order to make Bangladesh the country that the father of the nation dreamt of," added Dr Kalimullah.
The joint-convener of NMIC, Dr. Md. Shamim Hayder Talukder said, "We feel obliged to the people of Bangladesh. In the country some unethical business practices are going on in the name of giving health service to the people."
"These unethical practices are causing severe mismanagement in the health sector and people think that, this is the main reason that put the health sector in turmoil. People also believe that there is no alternative to a proper planning for a structural change in public sectors,"
"Consistent action is needed to achieve this objective. We completely agree with the thoughts of the people," added Dr Shamim.
They also demand justice for the people who fell victim to these unethical practices and said that all the unethical practitioners must be put in the police custody and put under trial.
During the conference they also urged concerned citizens to join in these programs to make a better Bangladesh, the release added.
